Baby Showers’ are ‘thrown’ for mums to be, sometimes just weeks before baby is due. An American tradition that has now crossed the Atlantic, a ‘Baby Shower’ gives an opportunity to celebrate the pregnancy and ‘shower’ the new ‘mum to be’ with gifts for her baby. These are usually a combination of things that are just nice to have (toys, clothes etc) and things that are needed (feeding bottles, nappies, toiletries etc).

Now, don’t panic, you are not being asked to bring things either ‘nice’ or ‘needed’ for Mary, the ‘mother of Jesus to be’, but you are expected to bring something with you for Sessions 2, 3 and 4 if you can (Instructions after Session 1).
