Sunday August 6th, 9.30 – Morning Worship with a Christening.
Sunday August 13th, 6pm – Evensong.
Gift for James and Valerie. At the end of August when his Study Leave finishes, James will leave this benefice for pastures new. If you’d like to donate towards a leaving present for him and Valerie you can do so at church services (speak to churchwardens or Kay). Outside service times you can deliver donations to the PCC Treasurer (Peter Bennett, tel 02380 812358. Email firstname.lastname@example.org ) by cheque or Bank Transfer.
Farewell evening for James, Thursday, 24th August . This event has proved very popular and has already reached full capacity. There are no more tickets available.
Minstead Village Fete; Saturday August 12th. All Saints’ will be running the tea tent. All proceeds from the fete will be shared between the Church Tower Fund and SSAFA. Helpers on the day and baking in advance are needed. Please speak to Karen or Alison.
Repair work on the church tower continues for another 5 weeks.
During weekdays, access to the tower will be prohibited to all except the building contractors. The path close to the base of the tower will not be in use.
We were unsuccessful in our main bid for funding, so would be interested in any ideas for ways of raising money to replace what the PCC is about to spend…..
Secretary needed for Deanery Synod. Area: Lyndhurst and Waterside. 6 evening meetings per year, about 1/4 of a day’s work per month. Expenses can be paid. Please contact Bill Andrews.

CHARITY GIVING During July and August, this church is supporting the Mission to Seafarers. After services, you can make your donations using the special collection dish, which will be either at the church door or in the Compton area. More information available in church.
Don’t forget when you’re shopping to buy something to donate to the Basics Bank. New Forest Basics Bank aims to provide support and help to individuals and families in need. The collecting box is in church. You are welcome to bring donations of non perishable food and hygiene items whenever the church is open.
