“Please join us at St. Michael & All Angels Church next Friday morning, the 27th September to support Macmillan in our first ever participation in the worlds biggest coffee morning – held across the UK. We are in need of any cake donations (pur-chased or home bakes) which can be dropped off Friday morning (the church will be manned from 8:15am). If anyone is available to help serve and take money for an hour 8:30-9:30am, that would be so helpful, please let me know and I’ll put you in touch with Kate. Breakfast treats will be available from 8:30am, just for the school and from 9am we will be opening up to welcome everyone for cakes…until they last! Thank you all for your support and we look forward to seeing you there”

THE PILGRIM COURSE
From the week of 30th September for six weeks, Revd David will be leading a Discipleship Course for all in the Benefice -The Pilgrim Course. Pilgrim is a teaching and discipleship resource from the Church of England. It aims to help every local church create a place where people can explore the Christian faith together and see how it can be lived out each day. Pilgrim approaches the great issues of faith not through persuasion, but participation in a pattern of contemplation and discussion with a group of fellow travellers.
Wednesday afternoons 3-4.30pm at ALL SAINTS CHURCH
Saturday 19 October 2019. 9.30 – 1.00 BENEFICE AWAY DAY FOR
St Saviour’s Parish Church, Brockenhurst.
As we begin a new year together there are advantages in spending some time together to reflect upon the mission and ministry of the Benefice. In part, this is reflected in our pMaps (Parish Mission Action Plans) which the Diocese require us to create. These are exciting documents in that they bring together the plans and hopes of each Parish in the Benefice.
You are encouraged to join us for a ‘short’ Away Day where we can learn about what each parish church is ‘planning’ and distill from this a plan for the wider Benefice. Please make space in your diary to join us. We will conclude with a Service of Holy Communion.
KNEELER GROUP Friday afternoons; 3-5 in church. Contact Churchwarden Liz for further information. 02380 811115
BELL RINGING We are fortunate to have a very active ringing band. Contact Polly for fur-ther information. 02380 812375.
If you have been baptised but have not been Confirmed and would like to discuss the opportunity to be so, please speak with David as the Confirmation Season approaches.
CHARITY GIVING. In September this church is supporting Mission to Seafarers. After ser-vices, you can make donations using the special collection dish.
NEW FOREST BASICS BANK aims to support individuals & families in need. The collect-ing box is in church for your donations of non perishable food & hygiene items.
